[Robotic Hardcore]

You should replaces those computer generated (or compressed) snares with a real one. Maybe from funky drummer or the amen break?

I have a couple of real loops in there being ducked out, I wanted the processed kick and snare to be the focal point of the beat and the rest to just fill in the gaps. I do love the amen break, and have it in my library, but I feel like it's almost too easy. Is funky drummer a loop library? Thanks for rating.

Too bad you don't hear a lot of this kind of stuff in the Drum n Bass section, eh? You should make more hardcore / jungle songs. One thing that bothers me is that synth that starts at 1:16. I don't think it fits IMO.

Other than that, make more hardcore. :>

If you're going to post under Drum'N'Bass, please understand what the hell it actually is. Just because something has Drums and some Bass Lines does NOT make it DnB.

Listen to some DnB or Jungle on YouTube. This confusion is common among newgrounders though. :(

you know I was thinking the same thing cause normaly DnB is alot faster I thought. this is the first time I ever tried to make DnB so this is a test as it says above. Regardless:

1. Where should I put it then?

You Don't Know How Much I Thank You ...

For making actual Drum and Bass. As one guy said, most people don't understand what Drum and Bass is when they actually post stuff on here.

My only complaint with this is that you need to find a better drum set or make the drums harder, and the melody is a bit awkward, but I have more beef on the drums.

Melody is in an odd key, I know lol. The kit I wanted it to be somewhat thin, but still have the kick as the defining component to the beat. The snare is thin on purpose, and the percussion is focused on much more so. My main focus was on the harmonic and melodic values of the track, and less on the kit. I wanted to bring out the feeling, with the kit as a sort of progressive variable with the melodies and harmonies leading on strongly.

[By the by, I made the kit myself ;)]

I can agree with you on that though, very few people understand what Drum and Bass actually is, it frustrates me to no avail.

I... have no comment, other than that Drum N Bass doesn't get real DnB on here. This is an exception.

I'd suggest making it slightly harder... the drums maybe, and more wild and uplifting. Somewhat like Jungle. Now that I think about it Liquid DnB is really strongly related to Jungle.

You've probably listened to London Elektricity before, I assume? You should listen to NuTone's remix of Different Drum and see what I mean about the drums.

This isn't supposed to be the hard DnB, but if you've ever heard of Liquid DnB you should find some of the more chill drum and bass tracks out there.
However I have heard of London Elektricity and I like what they do :]

Most idiots produce some half-assed music with drums and bass, and when they see this section, they think it's the right place to post such content.
